We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to assist in supporting our client’s cloud migration and modernization projects, including the transformation of legacy systems to scalable and secure environments.
Candidate will design and implement cloud architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements in addition to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, application development, and cybersecurity, to define and deliver robust cloud strategies
- Provide technical leadership in the adoption of AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and machine learning
- Develop, update, and manage technical documentation for AWS services, architectures, and solutions.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design and implement cloud-native applications.
- Ensure cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations
- Conduct ongoing analysis and optimization of cloud resource utilization, monitoring performance metrics, and recommending improvements to enhance scalability.
- Contribute to compliance and risk management, including security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, and ability to assess and manage risks associated with cloud environments.
- Advise on cloud-native application development, DevOps practices, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a solid background in architecting and implementing cloud-based solutions, as well as a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services.
- Previous experience working in complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in data privacy, risk management, vulnerability assessments, and incident management.
- Technical leadership skills
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and provide guidance and recommendations on cloud-related matters.
Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
